Lincoln Teenage Market a Huge Success!
Our Teenage Market in Lincoln last month was a massive success! Held in partnership with City of Lincoln Council, the event gave 15 young people from across Lincolnshire the chance to trade for free outside The Cornhill Market, with collective sales totalling over £1,600!
As well as showcasing creative retail from talented young traders, the event featured live performances from young bands 🎸🥁 and local theatre groups 🎤🎶 — creating a buzzing atmosphere right in the heart of the city.
We also added some extra excitement to the day with a free climbing wall 🧗 for young people (and the young-at-heart!) to enjoy — which was in constant use from start to finish — plus free DJ workshops from Noise Academy 🎧 and art workshops from ARTventurers Limited 🖌️🎨

We’re thrilled to announce that our next Teenage Market in Lincoln will take place at the Cornhill Market on Saturday 6th December, as part of Small Business Saturday — and we’ve already had nearly 20 young trader applications! 🙌
There’s clearly a huge appetite for these events, and we’re delighted to continue working in partnership with City of Lincoln Council and The Cornhill Market to provide a free platform for young people to build their small businesses, showcase their creativity and grow their confidence — made possible thanks to UK Shared Prosperity Funding.
